"Vital and rousing ... excellent tunes."

Bad Touch – the 5-piece rock band from Norfolk, who recently supported the Kentucky Headhunters on their critically acclaimed sell-out UK tour, will release their second studio album "Truth Be Told" on Bad Touch Records, with distribution via Cadiz, on Friday 2nd December 2016.
To dovetail with the album release, the band will embark on a UK co-headline tour on from 19th November with the Australian rock band Massive. Says, Bad Touch’s lead singer Stevie Westwood, "We’re really excited about getting back on the road and co-headlining with Massive. It’s going to be a great tour full of high energy."

The new album, which was recorded at Mwnci Studios in Wales, features the singles"99%" and "Made To Break", both remixed for radio by the legendary Rolling Stonesengineer and co-producer, Chris Kimsey. Both singles will be accompanied by official music videos.
"99% is a great song to ride around in cars and drink beer and smoke pot and listen to rock and roll on the radio," says Chris Kimsey. "Not that I drink beer or smoke pot, but I remember the simplicity of music and life so it’s good to hear it is alive and kicking withBad Touch. I heard something that evoked a good time melodic love song. It just needed some re-arranging and mixing to get to the heart of the song."

The new album sees Bad Touch celebrating classic rock with Southern boogie influences, supported with heavy guitar riffs and an iron-clad, tight rhythm section, in the great tradition of Black Crowes, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Led Zeppelin.

Truth Be Told – Track by Track
Many of the tracks on the album "Truth Be Told" were built around an idea or riff which was then developed by the band with each member bringing to bear their own life experiences and individual feelings to the mix. We hope that the audience will supplant their own individual life experiences and let the songs mean as much to them as they do to us.
1. One More Night - A song about a love that’s been lost and holding on to the memory of the good times, as not to become bitter and resentful. It's a song that everyone can relate to, as at some point we've all had to experience this, and, in a way, it is a reversal of the feelings expressed in the third track on the album, Waiting For This.
2. 99% - This song started life when we were all in our studio discussing cars and someone said that he was 99% sure he had found his next car- we all laughed as we were sure that there was no way he would ever buy it as he needs absolute certainty before spending any of his hard earned cash - and somehow [not really sure how] this conversation led us to start writing which over the course of the next couple of weeks turned into this song. PS He never did buy the car.
3. Waiting For This - This is quite an angry song [for us] about the breakdown of a relationship and attaching all the blame to the other person. It’s about bitterness, resentment and unforgiveness but despite all this still taking a positive view for the future and moving on to better times.
4. Under My Skin - Everyone has crushed on someone at some time in their life and this song is about how that person consumes your thoughts 24/7 and offers hope and anticipation of good times to come - even if the feeling is unrequited - which for us it often is.
5. Heartbreaker Soulshaker - This is a very simple song with an obvious message about living a hedonistic, no commitment, guilt free life - Not really something to aspire to over the long term, but it is an honest description of how we sometimes feel and in a way is a follow up to Waiting For This, and it’s a song with a really funky grove.
6. Take Your Time - This is a therapeutic song both in tone and words. What we are trying to say here is that whenever you are feeling desperate, stressed and don’t know where to turn or what to do next, take a deep breath and a step back to give yourself time for reflection. Too many people act in haste and do something stupid without realising things are not as bad as the initially appear. You’ll find that the people around you have often had similar thoughts and are there to talk to help you get through your troubles.
7. Let The Sun Shine - This song was written when we were at Download watching some great bands in the pouring rain. We were all soaked to the skin but the music and the camaraderie within the crowd made it feel like we were all bathed in glorious sunshine - a great feeling everyone should experience.
8. My Mother Told Me - This is a song that we hope that everyone will relate to as about the way we have all been supported and encouraged by our families. As aspiring musicians we have all had periods of self-doubt and have wondered if we are on the right road - fortunately we have always been encouraged and supported by our families who have given us the self-belief essential for us to keep going through thick and thin - and for this we are eternally grateful.
9. Outlaw came to be as a result of watching a Clint Eastwood movie about an ageing gunfighter trying to conform but finding his only way to provide for his family was to look his demons in the eye and return to his past life as an outlaw and killer - the only thing he was ever any good at.
10. Made To Break - This is another song about relationships combining both optimism and realism about human compatibility. It’s about being brave and jumping in despite being able to see the potential pitfalls ahead and making the most of the good times before it all inevitably goes bang!
11. Healing Hand is a song of contradictions. It’s about friendship and the way we sometimes judge our friends much more harshly than we should. Ultimately it’s about tolerance and forgiveness, values we should all aspire to but often fail to attain.
12. The Mountain is one of my [Stevie] favourite tracks. It's a little more boundary-stretching for us and the subject matter is close to my heart. The lyrics reflect the feeling that we are sucking our world dry of resources and that the way we are living is ultimately unsustainable. From decimating our rain forests to the pollution of our oceans... The song reflects the fact that the blame doesn't fall on the everyday person just trying to get by, but is on the shoulders of the huge companies that rule our world from behind the curtain, cutting corners to save money at the environment's cost that are truly to blame. The song is a warning that unless as a united world we change our ways, sooner or later Mother Nature will fight back.

Bad Touch - Biography
Bad Touch originally formed in 2010 when the band members were still in college. In their formative years, they played local pubs and performed covers of some rock classics, and gradually began to compose original material. Over the last few years Bad Touch have started making a name for themselves and built a reputation for their dynamic live shows, making them on of the "must-see" acts at many local venues.
In 2012, the band recorded their first EP at the Leeders Farm Studio – home of local hero’s The Darkness. The desire to get their music to a wider audience eventually led the band performing gigs around the country. In 2012, the band won the Exposure Music Award in 2012 for their live show, followed by an invitation to play Hard Rock Hell for the very first time.
2013 was a great year for the band. They toured the UK with The Quireboys and won the Marshall Ultimate Band Contest. In 2014, they toured with BonafideThe Electric Boys and Tyketto, and played many festivals including Download,SteelhouseLegends of Rock and Hard Rock Hell.
In 2015, the band recorded their debut album "Half Way Home" at Foel Studios. Released on 27th April, the album received rave reviews from the rock press.
2015 was also a great year for touring with the band completing an 18-date UK tour with The Answer as well as UK tours with Tyketto and Snakecharmer. Bad Touch’s live shows garnered them praise and support from fans and critics alike.
In June 2016, embarked on a UK tour with Jared James Nichols, followed by a UK tour supporting Kentucky Headhunters.
