Arriving at the venue and inside it was like a night in Helsinki with an atmosphere that would have filled a stadium.
Shiraz Lane played an 8 song set that was culled from their debut cd For Crying Out Loud released in 2016 with a glimpse of next year's new cd with a heavier direction with the new single Harder To Breathe impressing.
Bags of attitude and bits of Guns N'Roses,Aerosmith and Faster Pussycat chucked into a blender and the nasally whine of vocalist Hannes Kett will either irritate or you will love it.
On this night they couldn't fail with the home town of sorts crowd all over it and their posing brought screams of delight and songs like Wake Up,Out There Somewhere and the debut album title track showed a real promise and I look forward to next year and a new cd to see if they can take it to the next level.
Brother Firetribe are on their 15th anniversary tour with this London date their first ever outside of Firefest or Rockingham in the UK.From the moment they walked on stage the whole place went nuts with a show of love rarely seen anywhere on the planet.The band were genuinely gob smacked as the crowd went loco after every song.

New album Sunbound was heavily featured with 8 songs played and all went down superbly in the live setting but the fans new every word and seemed to have been waiting on this gig forever.
Pekka Ansio Heino on vocals has a superb melodic voice with an excellent range and tone and he had great stage craft too as he reached out to as many fans as he could reach and he never stopped smiling at the greeting from the crowd that exceeded anything they could have dreamed of.
Indelible Heroes was a moment set in time as band and crowd came together on a song you would have thought from the reaction was 30 years old not released this year.
Erno Vuorinen on guitars was again ever grinning and his riffing sits seamlessly with the keyboards of Tomppa Nikulainen and his guitar solo's were a joy to watch with it not all about how many notes he played but how he played them.
The rhythm team of Jason Flinck on bass and stunning backing vocals and Hannes Pirila on drums who was a powerhouse were superb letting Pekka have the lead role.
We went right back to the debut False Metal with I'm On Fire doing what it said on the tin as the guy next to me nearly imploded before Heart Full Of Fire took us to the end of what seemed the quickest set ever.
Only one encore with I Am Rock nearly setting off fire alarms as the crowd went nuts one more time.
The band promised to return and I for one can't wait as this was a gig to bottle and uncork when required to make the world a better place.
